Cylinder Tube Honing
Our cylinder tube honing machines are designed with the hydraulic rebuilding shop in mind. There are many features incorporated into our hone that make it ergonomically friendly and environmentally safe.
The hone is manufactured in two sections (power section and cylinder section). Each section is comprised of a sturdy 2” x 4” tubular steel frame in lengths that are built to your specifications (5ft. increments), with leveling leg bases and side panels.

MSD's Cylinder Tube Honing Machines help address surface finish wear issues in cylinder tube bore that degrade performance such as scratches, scoring and contamination deposits. They extend the life of cylinder tubes before costly replacement is required by restoring bore accuracy for higher pressure operation and improved efficiency.
